in the midst of doing one thing, this other sitch interjected itself

there i was, sorta working on the green stuff that's growing in my yard.....in a casual, yet enthusiastic way

i planted a shade flower mix in one part of "the garden", for example.....

japanese beetles suck.

and then by some kinda switch-on-a-switch, i was in southampton at heather's birthday party.

sage was wicked rad to get us (i was sitting with her and darryl ) a small schmorgasboorg of snax.

did you know i met sage when i was in the third grade? her grandparents lived next door to a family that was wicked good friends with my family, and sage played with their daughter....which is how i met her....dude, that was MANY moons ago.....

there were a ton of people i didn't know there, and a couple i did.... and actually, one i knew from high school, but had never really spoken with until this very party....

it was so hot by the pool, i started to feel wicked woozy....

so i was forced to take to the woods on a couple of different occaisions....you know how it can be.... celtic skin and heat stroke are fair weather friends.....

i was stoked on the catering aspect of the program

once we were all under the tent, we looked like a whole bunch more than when we were all out around the pool....
i met heather in kindergarten.

she lived accross the street from my mccolgan cousins, but i don't remember meeting her until school....

also, heather's dog is wicked sweet! even if a bit camera shy....
