although violets are my favorite flowers, i really enjoy all the trees in blossom. i only took this quick shot at smith, but it does seem that the residents of northampton enjoy the flowering trees.....

my car is in the shop for the weekend, so i walked over to pick up denver and take her to child's park. of course i took the route that led past my favorite house in northampton...

i love the moss on the slate roof, even though i know it's not so good for the roof....

we took a little water break half-way through the park, and i snapped this pict laying on the ground

suddenly i felt all this furriness, and realized that denver was trying to roll over me,

the way she rolls over tennis balls....too funny....
i think this is a strange little garden for the park,

since so many of the side walkways are wildly over-grown with rhodadendrums (i'm gonna spell-check that later). all of a sudden there's this weird little proper english-style garden.....
and since i'm in a speaking my mind kinda mood; i think the maintenance building would make a totally rad regular house.

after dropping denver back home, i headed home myself, making sure to go by past this house...

i have a mini-quasi-demi obsession with it. i call it the grey gardens house, even though i know it's not the REAL grey gardens house.

but it's in the same kinda condition the grey gardens house was in, so i'm wondering, each and every time i pass it (5x/wk), are there people living in there?
