front page of the gazette!

IMG_3358.JPG
i looked in yesterday's gazette to see if there was anything about the YARN HARLOT's event at the calvin. i thought that such a large venue for knitters might be worthy of local news. all they had was one small picture buried in the first section of the paper. it seemed reasonable, although disappointing, that that would be the extent of the coverage. THEN I SAW TODAY'S PAPER! the article here that obviously dominates the front page, also takes up about half of the last page of the front section. i am happy the gazette went just a wee bit further!

Glad to see you are alive and well, and still having fun with knitting. Just got back from a trip to Vermont to celebrate my parents on their 60th wedding anniversary. Good trip, good visit, albeit too short.

I'm still at Grad Div and wanting to retire, but need to wait until my son finishes his BA--next year.

My mom was making some very delicately patterned baby sweaters and caps from a new book I sent her a while ago. New book, but with older style patterns and grace.
