welcome 2007!
i've decided to keep them ultra-realistic to be able to actually follow through, and experience a sensation of satisfaction about the whole sitch. one of the four resolutions has to do with this blog. i can't tell you how many picts i've taken over the past two months, of some cool stuff i've done, fun people i've visited with, pretty pictures of the pioneer valley in the autumn/winter months, and general picts of tessy, all with little blurbs i've wanted to attach for context. i've realized "the overall problem" is that, nine months into my life in northampton, i have not been able to establish a set time to blog. this morning is my first morning with new morning habit: drinking coffee up in my room working on the blog instead of knitting on the porch. so far, so good....
and did i mention how much i'm loving my new scottie pajamas?!?!?!?!?!!!!! (one of my favorite christmas gifts for sure!)

OHHH.. I'm sorry new year's eve couldn't work out. The incentive of ringing in the new year with you was there but the necessary ooomph behind the execution just wasn't. We stayed in and made an awesome dinner and barely made it through midnight. Let's try again when its not amateur night.
One resolution I have is to wean myself off all of the drinking, smoking and eating habits I developed in December and give my mouth a break - at least for January as a 'reset' period. After watching a Tyra Show last week about resolutions, I - no lie - hastily threw out about 3 lbs. of crappy chocolate, a coffee cake and some not-my-fave xmas cookies. Thanks Tyra!

happy new year my friend! I also rang in the new year with a fuzzy companion and my very warm brightly colored pjs. Damon stayed home with me we watched battle star galactica while I took shots of nyquil. Tessy is so adorable. but you knew that already!
