pretty pretty lawn foliage
i walk past this yard quite a bit in the afternoons (for tessy's afternoon walk). i think the combination of striped grass (clumps of tall grasses are very popular in yards in northampton) with the deep redish and chartruese leafy plants is beyond striking!!!! i also like that the yard in general does not have a manicured look. our yard is somewhat manicured, but that's because it's not my landscaping, it's my mom's. molly was a tailored kinda gal....
