IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!
today's adventures will include: general bead, alamo square grill, and the rum diary!
ok, not that there's been tons of action here lately, but i want to let those of you who are hanging on, understanding that this will be metamuselized (aka more regular) within the month. as of THIS SATURDAY, april 1st, i will be off-line until SUNDAY april 9th, as i traverse the country, haulin' all my crap back eastside (aka northampton, ma). seanie o'mcseansean-mcgordroy will be accompanying me during this trip

i'm lame, i know...no pictures for now, just touching base, asitwere
what the hell's happened to guettagirl? yes, i know this is the foremost question in everyone's mind...well, i'm finishing up with the totally freaking out stage of my move. the strange sporadic behavior is rapidly slipping away, and i'm starting to really look forward to this change in my life. at this point, i have this all-consuming desire to just get it over with, because i'm feeling such weight from this whole experience(i'm pretty sure i'll rant more about the specifics of all of this later; for now just know there's an amount of resistance to this inevitability). HOWEVER, i am simultaneously fighting the urge to novicate myself through the next two or so weeks until i'm in massachusetts. that's what i've always done with these kinda big change deals, and then later i realize that wasn't so bad, wishing i'd paid a little more attetion to what had been really going on at the time, perhaps even enjoy the change.
speaking of overwhelmed, although i have not been posting to the blog, i HAVE been taking all the picts like i've been posting real regular. i've started a draft for one, but you know, it took so long to even get through the various diatribes associated with each image, that when i consider how much "backlog" material i have, i'm just like, yeah, i think i'll go work on seanie's sox. although the world knows i'm rarely at a loss for words, the idea of the vastness of the material, and the slowness of my dial-up connection does leave me at a loss for words. i'm gonna have to seriously consider dsl or something in northampton...for now i think i'm gonna post all the back pictures in various photo albums, cuz you have the option there to load multiple pictures at once, which takes longer, but doesn't, if you catch my meaning. when i'm feeling up to it, i'll post some words with'em.
while i'm all super confessional at the moment, lemme address that button in the upper right-hand corner....despite long-standing claims that "the store" will be up and running soon, i won't be getting all that set up until i'm settled east side. similarly to the blog itself, although i haven't posted much on line, i've still been making all the stuff i wanna post up in there, and it's at about the 10 lb mark...
